Selecting A Genre: Film planning


HORROR? MYSTERY? OR THRILLER?

Choosing a genre is not an easy task especially when this has to be the base for everything we'll be working on. Eventually it came to me and my team members that why don't we create something that's a mixture of all these various genres. The only question as HOW?

We held a meeting and decided that let's stick with the category of Horror but add the accents of thrill and mystery! So here we are with the introduction of "Seytan" our very own horror short film we intend to film, create and edit!

Inspired by the famous horror depiction "Dabbe" of the  talented director 
"Hasan Karacadag" we decided to create something as affecting , realistic and interesting.

We have watched various clips from The Nun, Conjuring, Sijjin , and others to influence our minds to think with a sense of creativity. We are working on the storyline, setting, characters, and roles that we'll need. Hopefully, the next post will be our final draft so we can begin our practical work and shoot.
